Large format printing, especially vinyl printing, awards an artist with the unique experience of pressing print and seeing one's work come to life. In this case, many of my pieces drove off to be enjoyed by thousands.
A personal development project to build guidelines for an original livery design. This race car features dynamic positioning for sponsorship packages behind the main brand. The Fast Friends brand is an idea I had while talking racing with my friends. This unique logo is a fun double-entendre for friendship and the speed of racing. After building the vector graphic, it just begged to be rendered on a 3D model.
Working together with car enthusiasts and local vinyl printers, I craft unique and personalized vinyl banners. Running along the top of a vehicle’s windshield, you can express your style and celebrate car culture however you please. Clients include individuals, businesses, and racing teams.
The solar corporation SolarCity posted for an original design for their new Dodge Sprinter stationed in upstate New York. The design prompt was to feature technology and a nod to the Pro Football culture around Buffalo. My design was chosen to be applied to the build and represent the brand.
The images here show the scale vector drawings through installation and finally, the van in action. The vinyl wrap and uplift was performed at Yipes Auto and Graphics.
